LEATHER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE III - S.F.

Faculty & Staff

Darlene Weide, MPH, MSW, is currently the Workshops and Forums Development Manager at the STOP AIDS Project and has been involved in creating the innovative series of workshops for gay and bi men, LeatherFuck. She is also a photographer and videomaker. In her internationally acclaimed video SWITCH, Darlene explores how some individuals can move between categories of S/M and gender identities that are commonly thought to be immutable, such as being a S/M top and bottom.

Jim Reisig

Jim has been a volunteer at the STOP AIDS Project for the past four years. He has worn several hats during this time, from outreach volunteer to workshop facilitator. Most recently, Jim developed and now facilitates LeatherFuck workshops for leathermen in San Francisco. Jim enjoys dialogue and intellectual connection with members of the leather community, and is looking forward to developing more of a sense of brotherhood with leathermen. He has had a life-long interest in leather, and has "played" for about 12 years.
