MEN OF DISCIPLINE
DCMOD@aol.com WASHINGTON, DC - To celebrate the Fourth Anniversary of the Men of Discipline, the Washington, DC-based fraternity will conduct a special Uniform Night at the DC Eagle on Saturday, January 16, 1999. The featured demo will be a St. Sebastian temporary piercing and bondage scene. Educational demo cards on temporary piercing will be distributed to bar patrons. Men and women in uniform drink free beer at the club bar. MOD Discipline paddles ($20) and MOD cigars ($5) will also be for sale at the club bar. The Men of Discipline was founded in New York City on January 20, 1995, the feast of St. Sebastian, the patron saint of soldiers, athletes, piercers, People With AIDS, and the kinky. The Men of Discipline DC, which began on May 4, 1997, annually celebrates the feast of St. Sebastian with an intense piercing ritual. It is only fitting that our military-style fraternity that stresses physical discipline, and whose members enjoy the art and spirituality of SM, should claim Sebastian as its patron saint. The Men of Discipline DC, an alternative leather fraternity for gay men who are serious about BDSM and the leather/uniform lifestyle and practice discipline in their daily lives, has 29 members; ten Men of Discipline in Washington, DC; six Fraternal Men of Discipline living in other cities, three recruits, and ten Associate members. For more information on the Men of Discipline, view the MOD webpage at Men of Discipline Command Central or contact Colonel Ron Meshanko at DCMOD@aol.com or 202.238-9148.
