KEEP THE SPIRIT OF 
LEATHER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
ALIVE IN THE BAY AREA!

This fantastic Leather Leadership Conference was the result of a fine group of
people from across the country and a dedicated coalition of people from the
Leather/SM/Fetish Community of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Many of us want a local group to continue, so that a united Leather Leadership
force can work in our local Bay Area communities to protect and extend our
future rights, and to organize for mutually supportive purposes.
Valuable ties were established in our communities during the planning of LLC
III, and the energy and spirit coming out of LLC can be a wonderful resource
for our community and our future. Besides continuing to educate our community
on leather leadership, some other possible projects  include:
Х Dealing with unexpected political/legal Emergencies
Х Coordinating a leather Presence at the Pride parade or other venues
Х Establishing a contingency Legal defense fund to protect people of our
communities
Х Setting up Media contacts so media stories do not focus on a negative slant
Х Lobbying public officials regarding public policy
Х Holding leather Events and gatherings
Х And Other Functions Where A Broad-Based Coalition Is Required
The leather community is facing enormous challenges as it grows and develops.
We need to work together to deal with these challenges and with societyТs
negative attitudes. Leather Leadership must be an ongoing effort, and, with
your assistance, we believe it can be a unifying force toward greater
acceptance and understanding.
IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE SPIRIT GOING Ч WE NEED YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT!
For the Bay Area organization to continue, we will need your support and more
importantly a base of people willing to work on these goals with other
committed people from all the Bay Area Leather communities.
